An independent Radix validator, rewards compound on their own
Stake XRD with Atlas, an independent Radix validator with a 2% fee. Rewards compound into your stake units on their own. Your Radix Wallet signs it all.
Radix is a proof of stake network built for DeFi, with its own engine, Scrypto smart contracts and an asset oriented design where tokens behave like physical objects. XRD is the network token, used for fees and for staking with validators like Atlas.
Connect the Radix Wallet through the Radix Connector extension, enter an amount and approve in the wallet. One approval. Your XRD goes to the Atlas validator and you receive Liquid Stake Units in return, which is how Radix records your stake.
You do. Delegating never gives Atlas your seed phrase or your tokens. The stake units sit in your wallet, every transaction is approved there, and a Ledger works inside the Radix Wallet the same way.
Radix emits about 300 million XRD a year to the 100 validators with the most stake, split in proportion to stake. Rewards compound into the validator's stake pool every epoch, so your stake units are worth a little more XRD each time. There is nothing to claim.
The live card reads it from the Gateway, 2% of rewards at the time of writing. Rewards depend on network emissions, total stake and validator participation. Rates can change and aren't guaranteed.
Unstaking hands you a claim token straight away. The XRD itself is available after 2,016 epochs, about seven days, and you claim it back here. Confirm the figure in your wallet before approving, protocol parameters can change.
XRD can lose market value, rewards can change, and tokens are unavailable while unstaking. A validator that misses its turn to propose forfeits that epoch's emissions for everyone staked with it, and validators outside the top 100 earn nothing.
